Mountain 7 Colors
Vinincunca ‘Cerro Colorado’ is considered one of the new tourist attractions in the city of Cusco after Machu Picchu.
Located in the mountain range of Vilcanota where you will be able to appreciate beautiful landscapes with many mountains covered with snow, people of the zone with typical clothes, breeders of llamas and alpacas, besides the beautiful high Andean landscape characteristic of the mountain range of Vilcanota.
Located in the district of Cusipata, province and department of Cuzco with an altitude: 5020 masl.
Pick up from hotel between 3:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.
Duration of the trip: 2 hours and a half to Cusipata, and 1 hour to the town of Pampachiri where you can savor a delicious breakfast.
The walk will be approximately 3 hours and a half uphill depending on the physical condition of the walker.
When we reach the top we will have some free time to take our photos, then we will begin to descend this time through the Red Valley, the name is due to the special pigmentation of the earth that has a reddish color, this road will be more special because we can be one of the only groups on this route, this road will last approximately 3 hours to reach Japan where our transport will wait for us to enjoy a comforting lunch, then we will take our transport to return to Cusco with arrival between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
